SHIMANO ice TECHNOLOGIES brake disc and ICE TECHNOLOGIES pickup have been adopted to make cooling technology a reality that provides reliable performance. The coated brake disc blade, which has a 3-layer sandwich structure made of stainless steel, aluminum and stainless steel, provides better radiation performance and can range from 400oC to 300oC surface temperature. A radiation fin for the pill has also been adopted. In addition, the coated brake disc pad and radiator fin offer long pickup life, less noise, less loss of braking efficiency from overheating, and light weight.
