The XX1 Eagle SRAM chain is the key piece for the entire gear of the shift to work perfectly. It has hard chrome technologies and titanium nitride treatment that aim to keep corrosion at bay and keeps the fast link that has taken us out of so many problems but that in the Eagle version is also redesigned to ensure its effectiveness. Since the distance between the crowns is smaller, the chain also undergoes a slight narrowing, for this reason SRAM has resorted to new manufacturing methods: each link is made by a progressive technique of stamping on the metal in several phases, which gives high precision.
