The UPF 50 + Light Castelli offers a UPF 50+ sun protection factor, but in laboratory tests they have effectively blocked 99.8% of harmful sun rays. A polyester base has been used that is not only more effective than nylon blocking UV rays, but is also much better at keeping the body dry, meaning they can be used whether the weather is cool or temperate. Removed seams that could disturb and an elastic band with silicone has been applied to keep them in place. Highly compressible, you can store them in a pocket for your next outing on the mountain.
