SRAM engineers have developed PowerLock as a means of connecting for our 11-speed chains that is safe and consistent and requires no tools. While the PowerLock system does not require any special tools for installation, the narrow tolerance range of 11-speed transmissions requires that all PowerLock connection pins be suitable for a single application.
