The Maillot Castelli Perfect Light is designed with less thermal garment in mind than the Gabba garment, but warmer than the Perfetto vest. Nano Light fabric has been applied Pro on the back, but without the combed fleece fabric inside. This provides greater breathability.
The Maillot Castelli Perfect Light for women has been designed with a less thermal garment in mind than the Gabba garment, but warmer than the Perfetto vest. Thus, it has split from the Gabba garment and the Nano Light Pro fabric has been applied on the back, the same fabric of the Nano Flex culotte, but without the combed fleece fabric inside. This provides greater breathability and prevents the body from overheating.
To lighten the garment, a lighter Windstopper fabric (25% lighter than that used for Gabba garment) has been used on the front. You might think this garment is just for a small market niche. But first you should try it. You can wear it with most weather conditions such as gabba clothing (except in races in rain or heavy cold), but it is better suited for higher temperatures.
The fit is excellent and is another reason for you to try it. The common opinion of the Castelli testing team is that it does not completely replace the Gabba garment or the Perfetto vest, but it is another ace on the sleeve ideal for when it is cool, especially when the weather is dry or there is light rain forecast.
